Education:

California State University Fullerton – BA in Music; Masters in Education from National University, emphasis Multi-Cultural Education

Teaching Philosophy:

I teach because I love the joy of watching a child dream, imagine, and think. I want to show my students that they have worth and value. I want to make true citizens of the world and for them to be well rounded. I teach because every day, my life has purpose, every day, I make a difference. I don’t just teach content, but so much more. I teach life skills; I teach morals; I teach wise choices; I teach compassion. I love to spend time with youngsters who need an adult who treats them with respect and kindness.

Teaching Philosophy:

As I enter my 10th year of teaching, I still love what I do. Each year brings a new group of students who are full of life and eager to learn. Learning in my classroom is hands on and fun. I always look for ways to keep it exciting and new. This is done through a variety of ways. I use technology, small groups and projects to keep students interested.
